Is Xaflo really open source?
Yes. MIT licensed. The WordPress plugin, the MCP server and the desktop app are all on GitHub. Fork it, change it, ship it.
Does it work with Claude Desktop?
Yes. The MCP server registers in both ~/.claude.json (Code) and claude_desktop_config.json (Desktop). Both apps see the same tools.
What about other AI assistants?
Any MCP-compatible client works. Tested: Claude Code, Claude Desktop. Cline and Continue.dev coming.
How much does it cost?
Free forever. You pay only for your own Anthropic API or Claude Pro usage — Xaflo doesn’t proxy or resell any AI.
Do you store any of my data?
Zero. No telemetry. No analytics. No cloud. Your token sits in .claude.json. WP data goes machine → site over HTTPS.
What if my WP is behind a VPN?
Works fine if your machine reaches the site over HTTPS. Xaflo needs no inbound connections — Claude calls out to your site.
